The International Learning Exchange in Social Services (ILEX) is a non-profit international professional exchange. We are committed to bringing professional social educators from around the world to the United States for one year to demonstrate and share professional concepts, values,and ideas.

Social education as a profession does not exist in the United States – there are no College or University programs, nor significant training opportunities, that teach this professional discipline. If you are a social services professional with a diploma (degree) as a:

and/or other related fields then you have the appropriate level and type of education for our program.

If you have a sense of adventure, are highly flexible and adaptable, and have a willingness to share your professional knowledge with American colleagues, then you might find our ILEX Fellowship program very rewarding.
